What is Item Price?
- Item Price
- Item Price in ERPNext stores the selling or buying price of an item for a specific Price List, customer, supplier, or date range.
Managing Item Prices
Go to Stock → Item Price → New. Select the item, Price List (e.g., Standard Selling, Wholesale), currency, and rate. You can also set a minimum quantity for the price to apply, enabling quantity-break pricing.
Price Rules and Discounts
ERPNext's Pricing Rule can override Item Price based on customer group, territory, or campaign. Rules can apply discounts, free items, or fixed prices. The system evaluates all applicable rules and applies the best match on the transaction.
