What is Price List?
- Price List
- A Price List in ERPNext is a named set of item prices used for buying or selling, allowing different prices for different customer segments or currencies.
Setting Up Price Lists
Go to Stock → Price Lists → New. Name it (e.g., Standard Selling, Wholesale, Export USD). Mark it as Buying, Selling, or both. Set the currency. Assign a Price List to a Customer or Supplier to default it on all their transactions.
Multiple Selling Price Lists
Businesses with retail, wholesale, and distributor channels can maintain separate price lists. Use Pricing Rules to auto-apply the correct list based on customer group or territory, eliminating manual price selection errors.
