Stock Counts in Minutes, Not Days
A manual warehouse count can take a team days of walking and writing on clipboards. A handheld RFID reader can capture hundreds of tags a second — the same count drops to minutes.
RFID EXPLAINED — NO JARGON
If you've never worked with RFID before, here's the short version: RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a way to identify and track items automatically using radio waves — no manual scanning, no typing product codes into a screen, no walking around with a clipboard counting boxes by hand.
A tiny chip with an antenna — smaller than a coin — is stuck on or built into a product, pallet, ID card or tool. It stores a unique ID number, nothing more.
A reader — fixed at a doorway, or handheld — sends out radio waves. When a tag comes within range it "wakes up" and sends its ID back. No button press, no line of sight, no manual scanning.
That read is logged instantly: what item, what location, what time. It flows straight into your inventory, ERP, billing or access-control software — no one types it in by hand.
Business RFID works on exactly the same idea — just applied to your stock, your tools or your gate, so it saves your team the manual work instead.
PASSIVE OR ACTIVE — WHICH DO YOU NEED?
Passive tags have no battery, cost very little per tag, and are ideal when you need to tag a large volume of inventory or products cheaply. Active tags carry their own battery, cost more, and broadcast their location continuously — the right choice for tracking a smaller number of high-value assets like forklifts, containers or expensive equipment in real time.
Most sites end up using a mix — passive for the bulk of inventory, active for the handful of assets that genuinely need real-time location.
THE BUSINESS CASE
Manual stock counts, manual data entry and manual searching for misplaced items all cost real hours and real rupees. RFID removes the "manual" from each of those — here's exactly where the savings come from.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
FROM DAY ONE TO SCALE
You don't need to tag your entire facility on day one. Most businesses start with one simple use case, prove the time savings, then grow into more advanced setups.
WHO USES THIS
WHY INFONOXE
We supply the tags and readers and build the middleware/dashboard around them — one team, not three vendors.
Passive for volume, active for real-time location — we help you pick based on what you're actually tracking, not oversell you.
Already run ERPNext, GST Billing or our Barcode Scanner solution? RFID reads feed straight into the same stock and billing data.
