What is Warehouse?
- Warehouse
- A Warehouse in ERPNext is a storage location where stock is maintained, supporting a hierarchical structure for multi-site and multi-bin inventory management.
Setting Up Warehouses
Go to Stock → Warehouse → New. Build a tree: All Warehouses → Pune Facility → Raw Material Store / Finished Goods / QC Hold. Assign each warehouse to a company and optionally to an accounting account for perpetual inventory.
Warehouse Reports
The Stock Balance report filtered by warehouse shows current stock levels. The Stock Ageing report identifies slow-moving items by warehouse. Putaway Rules can auto-assign incoming stock to specific bins within a warehouse.
