What is Packing Slip?

- A Packing Slip in ERPNext details the contents of each box or package within a Delivery Note, used for multi-package shipments and courier manifests.
Creating a Packing Slip
From a submitted Delivery Note, click "Create → Packing Slip". Assign items to individual packages by specifying the package number. ERPNext prints the packing slip with item details, package weight, and box count for the transporter.
Multi-Package Shipments
For large orders shipped in multiple boxes, create one Packing Slip per box or group boxes by packing type. The Delivery Note shows total packages and gross weight. Use this with ERPNext's Delivery Trip for full dispatch management.
