- A Delivery Trip in ERPNext groups multiple Delivery Notes into a single trip for a vehicle, enabling route planning and last-mile delivery tracking.
Creating a Delivery Trip
Go to Stock → Delivery Trip → New. Assign a driver, vehicle, and departure time. Add Delivery Stops — each linked to a Delivery Note and customer address. ERPNext can plot the route using Google Maps integration and calculate estimated time of arrival.
Trip Status and POD
As deliveries are completed, the driver updates each stop's status to Delivered or Failed. Attach proof of delivery (signature or photo) to each stop. The Delivery Trip dashboard shows real-time progress across all active trips.
