Go to Manufacturing → Workstation → New. Enter the workstation name, production capacity (units per hour or hours per shift), operating cost per hour, and working hours. Link it to a cost centre for accurate expense allocation.

Workstation Capacity and Scheduling

ERPNext uses workstation capacity to calculate if a Work Order can be completed in the planned time. The Workstation Utilisation report shows booked vs available hours, helping identify bottlenecks in the production schedule.
