Job Card Workflow

ERPNext auto-creates one Job Card per operation per Work Order. The operator scans or opens their Job Card, clicks "Start", works, then clicks "Complete". Time is logged to the minute. Multiple operators can log time on the same Job Card.

Job Card for Costing

Logged time × workstation hourly rate = operation cost. This is added to the Work Order's manufacturing cost alongside raw material cost to give total product cost. The Job Card also updates workstation utilisation reports.
