What is Subscription?
- Subscription
- ERPNext's Subscription module auto-generates recurring Sales Invoices or Purchase Invoices on a defined schedule (monthly, quarterly, annually).
Creating a Subscription
Go to Accounting → Subscription → New. Link a Subscription Plan (defining the item, price, and billing interval) and a customer. ERPNext auto-generates invoices on the due date and can auto-submit them if configured.
Managing Subscription Lifecycle
Subscriptions track trial periods, cancellation dates, and days until next invoice. Use "Cancel Subscription" to stop future invoices. The Subscription report shows all active, cancelled, and completed subscriptions.
