What is Notification?
- Notification
- ERPNext Notifications send automated email, SMS, or system alerts when a document meets defined conditions — such as overdue invoices, low stock, or workflow state changes.
Setting Up Notifications
Go to Settings → Notification → New. Select the DocType and event (Save, Submit, Cancel, Day Before). Add filter conditions (e.g., due_date < today and status = "Overdue"). Write an email subject and body using Jinja2 with document fields. Select the recipient (role or field value).
WhatsApp and SMS Notifications
