Creating Designations
Go to HR → Designation → New. Enter the title. Designations appear on employee masters, offer letters, appraisal forms, and HR reports. You can map salary grades to designations for grade-based salary structure assignment.
Designation in Org Hierarchy
ERPNext's Organisation Chart (under HR) shows employees by department and designation. This helps HR managers visualise reporting lines and identify positions that need to be filled during hiring.
