What is Dashboard?

- ERPNext Dashboards are configurable home-page views showing multiple charts and number cards from reports and DocTypes for at-a-glance business monitoring.
Creating Dashboards
Go to Settings → Dashboard → New. Add Charts (linked to saved Report Builder or Script Report visualisations) and Number Cards (counts or aggregates from a DocType). Arrange by drag-and-drop. Set the Dashboard as the home page for specific roles.
Shared vs Personal Dashboards
Dashboards can be shared with all users or kept private. Use the Dashboard Chart Refresh Interval to auto-refresh KPIs. Each chart supports multiple chart types (Bar, Line, Pie, Donut). Pre-built dashboards exist for Sales, Purchase, and HR.
