Creating Web Forms

Go to Website → Web Form → New. Select the target DocType, add the fields to display, and set the route (URL slug). Toggle "Login Required" for portal forms or leave unchecked for public forms. Submitted data creates records in the selected DocType immediately.

Common Web Form Use Cases

Customer enquiry forms (create Leads), job application forms (create Job Applicants), support ticket submission (create Issues), supplier registration forms (create Suppliers in Draft). Web Forms replace external form tools like Google Forms for data entering directly into ERP.
