What is ROC Filing (MCA Compliance)?
- ROC Filing (MCA Compliance)
- ROC (Registrar of Companies) filings are mandatory annual submissions to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) covering financial statements, annual returns, and director information.
Key MCA Annual Filings
AOC-4 (Financial Statements + Board Report): due within 60 days of AGM (AGM usually by 30 September = AOC-4 by 29 November). MGT-7 (Annual Return): due within 60 days of AGM. ADT-1 (Auditor Appointment): within 15 days of AGM. Late filing attracts penalties of ₹100/day per form.
Using ERP for ROC Compliance
ERPNext generates Schedule III financial statements required for AOC-4 filing. The Board Report requires headcount data (available from HR module) and related-party transaction data (from Accounting Dimension tagged transactions). Export ERPNext reports to the CA for MCA filing preparation.
